MY JOURNEY AS A MUSICIAN.

Michael Ufer is a talented local musician from Traverse City, Michigan, whose contributions to the music scene have left a lasting impact. 

My journey in music began in the 1980s when I traveled as a professional drummer, touring the Midwest with road bands. This early experience not only honed my rhythmic skills but also ignited a passion for performance that would shape my musical career.
 

As the years progressed, I expanded my musical repertoire, discovering a deep love for the guitar and keyboards. This versatility allowed me to evolve into a skilled guitarist, and I ultimately formed the "Midnight Blue Band". This dynamic group has become a staple in the local music community, known for its engaging performances and diverse setlists.
 

The “ Midnight Blue Band“ has thrived, blending genres and captivating audiences with their energetic shows. My journey from a drummer to a guitarist ….with lots of hard work showcases my dedication to music and my ability to adapt, grow and collaborate as a songwriter and artist. Today, I continue to learn from great musicians and players alike, proving that passion and perseverance can lead to remarkable achievements in the world of music.
